Oxentia and Kök Project launch new international Agri and FoodTech accelerator connecting the UK, Spain, and Latin America: Fieldworks

Oxentia Ltd and Kök Projekt announce a new strategic collaboration to develop and deliver an international accelerator programme designed to support the growth of high potential Agri and FoodTech ventures across the United Kingdom, Spain, and Latin America. Recent developments in EU–LATAM cooperation, including renewed momentum to EU–Mercosur relations, further strengthen the case for Spain as a gateway for agri-food innovation entering Latin American markets.

The partnership follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Oxentia and Kök Projekt, formalising their shared ambition to strengthen global innovation pathways and create new market entry opportunities for emerging Agri and FoodTech companies.

The Fieldworks accelerator will focus on enabling technology driven agricultural and food system innovations to scale internationally. By combining Oxentia’s global innovation expertise with Kök Projekt’s deep market knowledge and presence in Spain and Latin America, the accelerator will support entrepreneurs addressing challenges in:

  • Sustainable agriculture and food production
  • Resilient food systems and supply chains
  • Climate and watertech innovation
  • Market access and pilot-first field integration

Compared to the traditional accelerator models, Fieldworks follows a pilot-first approach, focusing on real-world field deployment and operational validation with corporate and ecosystem partners from the outset.

Under the agreement:

  • Oxentia will lead programme activities in the UK, co-lead in Latin America, and support delivery in Spain, leveraging its longstanding expertise in entrepreneurship, technology commercialisation, and global innovation consultancy.
  • Kök Projekt will lead programme activities in Spain, co-lead in Latin America, and support activities in the UK, drawing on its established networks across the agrifood and climatetech sectors and its emerging presence through Kök Projekt Spain S.L. .

A Joint Steering Committee will work together to oversee programme development, delivery, strategic partnerships, and long term growth.

The programme is designed not only to accelerate venture development but also to unlock collaborative opportunities with corporates, institutions, and ecosystem partners across Spain and Latin America. Both parties will jointly engage in fundraising, sponsorship development, and ecosystem outreach. In addition, the collaboration includes the shared intention to explore future investment pathways aligned with the accelerator’s mission.

Spain will serve as a key hub for programme activity, offering a critical bridge to Latin American markets and enabling innovators to access diverse agricultural environments, testing opportunities, and commercialisation pathways.

Oxentia is pleased to support the launch of the second cohort of the TRUK Accelerator Programme, delivered in partnership with NEOHUB, the new‑generation subsidiary of DenizBank, and Oxtech Ventures. The programme is designed to support sustainability‑focused technology startups and to strengthen collaboration between the innovation ecosystems of Türkiye and the United Kingdom.

The six‑month accelerator provides selected startups with a structured growth journey, combining business model development, international mentorship, investor access, tailored training modules, and one‑to‑one advisory support. Participants engage with both the Turkish and UK ecosystems, including direct exposure to London’s startup and investment community, to help position their technologies for international markets.

Startups that successfully complete the programme will also be eligible for investment from Oxtech Ventures, supporting their international scale‑up ambitions.

Building globally competitive sustainability ventures

Through TRUK, Oxentia brings its expertise in venture creation, commercialisation, and scaling innovation to help sustainability‑driven startups refine their value propositions, strengthen their business models, and prepare for international growth.

Commenting on the programme, Yalın Özcan, General Manager of NEOHUB, said:

Scaling technologies developed in the field of sustainability at a global level not only delivers environmental benefits, but is also crucial for creating high value‑added revenues and increasing export capacity. In the TRUK Accelerator Programme, where we combine Oxentia’s expertise in business model development and company formation with Oxtech Ventures’ strong investment network, we support startups’ growth journeys not only through mentorship, but also through our Bank’s investment, financing, and portfolio management structures. Our goal is to help startups emerging from Türkiye become strong, revenue‑generating and competitive players in international markets, while creating a cooperation framework between our countries based on sustainability and innovation

Siret Ünsal, Managing Partner at Oxtech Ventures, added:

“Türkiye has strong entrepreneurial potential to develop globally significant technologies, especially in the field of sustainability. At Oxtech Ventures, we place great importance on supporting sustainability‑focused startups with international growth ambitions. Within TRUK, by bringing together capital, structured market access, and ecosystem connectivity, we accelerate international growth and help strong local startups transform into global success stories, integrated with the United Kingdom.”

Bridging the Türkiye–UK innovation ecosystems

Commenting on Oxentia’s role, Steve Cleverley, CEO of Oxentia, said:

“Startups working on sustainability challenges need more than capital. They require access to international expertise, partnerships, and markets. Through the TRUK Accelerator Programme, delivered with NEOHUB and Oxtech Ventures, we are delighted to support sustainability‑focused technology ventures in strengthening their business models, connecting with the UK ecosystem, and positioning their innovations on a global stage.”

The programme aims to establish a long‑term cooperation framework between Türkiye and the UK, enabling knowledge exchange, cross‑border partnerships, and increased investment flows in sustainability‑led sectors.

By combining Oxentia’s global innovation expertise, Oxtech Ventures’ investment capabilities, and NEOHUB’s financial and ecosystem support, TRUK continues to play a strategic role in helping high‑potential startups from Türkiye become internationally competitive, investment‑ready businesses.
