Sahand has a background in biomechanics, science and engineering, with a focus on computational models in these areas.
Sahand joined Oxentia in January 2021 as a Consultant. He focuses on working with corporate clients. Prior to joining Oxentia, Sahand was an academic researcher at the University of Oxford, University of Sheffield and University of Exeter. Sahand has also worked as an entrepreneurship lead with the ICURe Innovation to Commercialisation project funded by Innovate UK. In the second stage of the programme, he wrote a complete business plan for the invented product.
Outside of Oxentia, Sahand enjoys Olympic-style weightlifting, performing sports massage, cycling and HIIT.
